Disaster or Master of Design?

So the other day I was at Fred Meyer picking up a few essential items when the OPI nail polish rack caught my eye. I couldn't help but remember a polish Erin was raving about called "Cajun Shrimp." Naturally I was curious to see this incredible color and began to scan through the multiple shades. I found the color and just as I grabbed it, questioning $8.50 for a bottle, the plastic wrapper was not attached to the bottle very tight and the bottle of nail polish slipped right through my finger tips, crashing to the floor and breaking ALL over. And when I say ALL over, I mean ALL over...including my ALL white shoes. "Did that really just happen?" Miriam pondered in disbelief. Yep...it did. I looked around and of course I saw a guy in another aisle giving me the "sucks to be you" face and then continued to go about his business. Conveniently, there were no workers to be found and I didn't want to leave a trail, so I asked a fellow-shopper to find some assistance as I had just made a huge mess. A lady came to clean up and as I was apologizing and asking if I needed to pay for it, she was doing the opposite. She was apologizing to me and informed me there would be no charge. What a gem. As I walked away from the situation, I couldn't help but think my shoes looked cool. Had I just created a hot new pair of sneaks? Were my shoes not completely ruined?

You be the judge...
