Happy New Year!

First of all, I can't believe it's 2010! I mean, how do you even say it? Do you say 20-10 or 2000-10? It was just so easy to say 0-9. And now I'm even tempted to say 0-10. ANYWAY, I have always felt like New Year's is over-rated. Let me explain...you feel obligated to do something or else you are considered lame. So you plan and plan even though you don't really want to, you buy a new outfit, and you try to figure out anything and everything you can do that will make the night worth it. Then you party hop, trying to find the best party (and failing), to the point that you end up in your car or somewhere inconvenient for a proper countdown. And there goes your New Year's.

But this year we had a blast because there were no expectations! We debated not even going out, but you know me...I can't miss a good party. So we spent the evening with good friends in Park City at a club/restaurant/pub where our friend's band was playing. They played cover-songs and we danced the night away. I even got a New Year's kiss. It was so fun! 2010 should be a good year (even if it'll take some getting used to).
