Annoyance

So we were told by our old landlord that we could earn our deposit back if we cleaned really well when we moved out, which we did (with the help of our awesome RS presidency). My roommate, Amy, called our landlord to find out how we should go about getting our check and he let her know he'd send it in the mail and we should get it by Oct. 15. Fair enough, right? I emailed him our new address soon after their conversation. Oct. 16 he writes me asking if we want four separate checks or one. Four, thanks. Good news: We got our check...a few weeks late, but we got it. Bad news: He sent one check written out to me...why even ask what I prefer? Classy, landlord, real classy.
